We are thankful to Ann Ferguson for the many years in which she spearheaded the Adopt-a-Highway program.
Get in gear and team up for road side clean-up!
Several times a year we coordinate with VDOT to clean-up along Oak Park Road (Rt. 634). We schedule a full week (with nice weather) to allow enough flexibility for volunteers to select the date which best suits them. Additionally, each team is responsible for a specific location within the designated area; which spans on Oak Park Road from the Dark Run Bridge to Carpenters Mill Road. VDOT provides road signs, reflective vests, and trash bags.
Please email Nancy Negron at: email@example.com to sign up and join the Adopt-a-Highway crew.
Before each clean-up session, the schedule and safety guidelines are forwarded to each volunteer.
So please consider volunteering an hour or two of your time to help keep Madison/Malvern beautiful.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the community. There are many maintenance and improvement efforts within the Malvern Community that can be performed by volunteers instead of having to hire outside help. All lot owners and their families are welcome to become volunteers. Donate your skills and as little as an hour of your time to help out your community, meet your neighbors, and help keep Association fees low.
