President's Bulletin Board:
I hope everyone had a really nice Thanksgiving! And I expect you are all trying to get ready for Christmas. Have a wonderful holiday.
At the time of this writing we are still waiting for the contractor to be able to start removing the speed humps. It's a tricky time of year for asphalt work however. He still plans to be here as soon as possible.
Please remember that we need candidates to run for the Board in April. Four seats will be up for election with only one person re-running. If you are interested please write a short (or long) bio about yourself and why you want to run so that people who read the Communicator will know you a little bit before voting.
We had another accident last week, this time on Covered Bridge. Apparently the driver was way over the legal limit for alcohol and took out a light pole.
I am sorry the Breakfast With Santa event had to be cancelled for lack of Santa! I guess he was busy elsewhere. Thanks for trying anyway Events Committee!

Treasurer: Approved 2016 Budget
The 2016 budget was discussed and approved at the annual membership meeting held on October 17th, subject to clarifying the spending for roads and subject to a restriction on spending for security. Annual dues for 2016 will remain $550 per lot. The newly approved budget can be found by Clicking Here.
Architectural Committee: Update
The decision has been made to no longer require a building permit for the package to be submitted by Malvern residents when an outbuilding, addition to a home, or new home is to be built. The remaining requirements in our Rules and by laws remain in effect. Anyone having questions can call Jerry Monnat at 703-217-9031.
Community Events: Last Call
The Malvern Social Events Committee is giving a last call for new members to join. We are unfortunately down to only 3 active members and we need a much larger group to plan for the activities we have enjoyed in the past. Our breakfast with Santa has been cancelled due to not having anyone volunteer to be a Santa. If we do not get more members by the end of this month, then there most likely will be no more social events, or possibly just having one social event/year if we get volunteers to help out. If you would like to see the events continue, then please call us to join. You may call Ellie Tarbous at 845-269-1569.

Malvern News Publication Schedule:
The Newsletter will be sent every two month (on even months) or Ad-Hoc when needed. Committee Chairs must submit their input at least two days in advance of publication.
